Â鶹ֱ²¥ student publishes must-read guide to university life

A company set up by Â鶹ֱ²¥ University PhD student Sophie-Louise Hyde has published its first anthology, entitled You is for University – a collection exploring the A-Z of university life, making it an ideal read for soon to be students and Freshers.

You is for University has been written by students from all over the UK, providing a comprehensive overview of life as a student.

Writer and poet John Osborne – whose work includes critically-acclaimed BBC radio show John Peel's Shed – describes You is for University as a “one-of-a-kind university toolkit” with wide appeal.

Poet Kate Rhodes – whose latest work A Killing of Angels was released earlier this year – said: “You is for University is both a handy guide and heady collection of creative writing. Written by students for students, it has a contemporary edge which is its greatest strength.”

Sophie is thrilled by the success of the collection.

“Bringing You is for University to print has been a challenging but exhilarating experience – one that has taught me many important lessons on how to succeed as a writer and businessperson. It’s given me the confidence to develop the Student Wordsmith further, and I’m hard at work on my first poetry collection.”

Sophie’s company, , is based in , a dynamic and supportive hub for graduate entrepreneurs, based at Â鶹ֱ²¥ University.
