People often misinterpret LGBT+ as simply wanting to categorise people for who they are. However, it is one of the closest and friendliest communities in society.
Nowhere is the strength of this community felt more strongly than in Â鶹ֱ²¥, thanks to the support and reach of the LGBT+ association at Â鶹ֱ²¥ Students’ Union, as well as from Â鶹ֱ²¥ University itself. It truly is the family in which you can feel most comfortable expressing who you are, including as an ally.
It can be challenging coming out at any stage in life, but university is arguably one of the best times to express your true colours.
