As Britain prepares for leaving the EU, politicians are planning what the future of the UK will be post-exit. The views of young people in Â鶹ֱ²¥ and the surrounding areas will be expressed at this exhibition and discussion panel through artworks, including sculptures, posters and even a video game.
Students from De Lisle School, Â鶹ֱ²¥ College, Rawlins Academy, Charnwood Arts and Frenzy Youth Theatre have all contributed to the collection.
The exhibition will run throughout the week and will be open for viewing from 11am-4pm each day in the Martin Hall Exhibition Space at the University.
The panel debate will take place on Friday 10 November at the Sir Robert Martin Theatre from 4pm-6:30pm. It will include academics from the and the , alongside local MP Nicky Morgan. They will be commenting on the different artworks displayed and the messages they portray, as well as taking questions from the audience about ‘Britain after Brexit’ based on research, policy and personal views.
Both the exhibition and panel debate are free to attend and open to all, but booking is required for the panel event. You can reserve your space online .
