Dr Estefania Cuenca Asensio

EstefanÃa Cuenca, PhD is Assistant Professor of Structural Analysis and Design in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi).
She received her degree in civil engineering, her MSc in concrete engineering, and her PhD from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain. She has actively participated in several European projects such as ReSHEALience, MINRESCUE, SMARTINCS and SARCOS.
Her research interests include from material concept to structural applications of advanced cementitious composites, fiber-reinforced concrete, self-consolidating concrete, self-healing of concrete and sustainable and recycled concretes.
During their IAS Fellowship, Dr Asensio is collaborating with Dr Ana Blanco Alvarez from the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering.
