The Peter Harrison Centre supports TASS Project

This project with TASS involves several of our PHC members from different research areas.

Â鶹ֱ²¥ University is pleased to be supporting a TASS delivering the 20-32 Programme, developed by UK Sport, for individuals on their journey to performance in para sport. This programme implements the principles of the Para Performance Strategic Framework and aims to develop para-athletes’ knowledge and understanding within key areas, helping them on their journey as an athlete and person. It’s a year-long programme, comprising 4 x face-to-face camps based at Â鶹ֱ²¥ University and 6 x online education sessions.

We are pleased to have several PHC members involved with the project. Vladyslava Kravchenko and Jennie Wong are leading with the framework piece, with Anna Fitzpatrick with Thomas Miller working on elements of the monitoring and evaluation. Both being supported by the PHC, Â鶹ֱ²¥ Sport and Â鶹ֱ²¥ in London (via Vicky Tolfrey and Alasdair Donaldson).

We look forward to sharing more news in due course.
