No.1 in the world - again!

Â鶹ֱ²¥ has retained its position as the best university in the world to study sports related subjects in the global 2021 QS higher education league table - cementing our position as the world-leader for sport for five years in a row!

The University has taken the title ever since it was launched by QS in 2017, a testament to its outstanding regard among the world’s academic community.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject are based upon research impact, academic and employer reputation.

Â鶹ֱ²¥ was ranked 1st for sport-related subjects after receiving perfect scores for both academic and employer reputation, while the impact and quality of our research secured a score of 96.2%.

Professor Mark Lewis, Dean of Â鶹ֱ²¥’s School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences said: “To be crowned best in the world for sports-related subjects for five years running is a truly incredible achievement.
