Welcome to Falkner Eggington

Named after Harold Everett Falkner, founder and former head of Aeronautical Engineering. Also Alfred Thomas Eggington, awarded the Military Cross in 1916, former headmaster of Â鶹ֱ²¥ College. Falkner Eggington is our largest self-catered hall on campus. With a unique mix of ages and cultures the hall is known for its community spirit and lively atmosphere.

As a university, we commit our best endeavours to ensuring all our incoming students have an equitable and positive Welcome experience. We recognise that the lack of physical access into Firefly may affect some students’ ability to attend these late-night activities. If you are an incoming first year student and have shared support requirements to the University, our Student Life Team will contact you directly for further support. If you are yet to share any support requirements with the University you should look to complete our online as soon as possible.

All Falk Egg social media channels are student-led through the hall's committee.
