Student Records & Operations

Student Records & Operations are here to help you with the University's academic administrative processes for students on taught programmes. This includes things such as registering to study at Â鶹ֱ²¥, student loans, managing your student record, exams, and graduation.

Student Records & Operations can help support you with things like:

  • Queries about the calculation of tuition fees (payments should be made via the Finance Office website).
  • Questions about the Â鶹ֱ²¥ University Bursary programme for UK undergraduates.
  • Collection of your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) if you have a Student visa.
  • CAS requests (if you are an existing taught student and need to apply for a new Student visa).

You will find the answers to most of your questions in the Student Handbook.  If you need a letter confirming that you are a student (e.g. for Council Tax exemption or to open a UK Bank Account), you can download this directly from Student Self-Service. You can also keep your personal details (e.g. addresses) up to date via Student Self-Service.

An appointment system is currently in place for students whose query can only be resolved by visiting the Student Records and Operations Team in person (e.g. for registration).
